My First Gallery Show!

Untitled, mixed media on panel, 12"x12"

Some of my dear friends are hosting and curating a new artist-run gallery — The People’s Gallery — in Saint Paul, and they invited me to contribute to their Grand Opening Show!

The gallery has sixteen pieces of my work — mostly paintings. Some were still wet when they were carried out! Several other fabulous artists are also participating, so expect to enjoy a wonderful variety of work.

The reception is TODAY — 3:00 to 9:30 PM.

Check their website in a few days for gallery hours after today.

I’ll be there starting at 3:00 PM. It would be great to see you.

Stop by if you can!

Thanks for the Great Art Crawl!

We had a wonderful time, met amazing people, and shared our art with hundreds of new and old friends. Margaret  taught dozens of demos. Dad sold his first painting (and then a few more — very exciting). Thanks to all of you who stopped by!

Richard, Margaret, and Serena

Richard (my dad), Margaret (my sister), and Serena (that would be me) at the Fall 2012 St. Paul Art Crawl.

Webwork

Turns out that moving a website from one host to another one is a LOT of work. And it causes stuff to, you know, break. Like all of you who had followed me before have been dropped because of the move (I’m so sorry — I didn’t know that could happen).

I finally got a “Follow” and “Subscribe” feature installed so you can resubscribe if you’d like! Let me know what you think  — of those features or any other part of the deal.

Still working on the store page and on the best way to display my visual and literary work.  Bear with me. Feels like I’m wearing roller skates and techie learning curves are steep! More anon.

Spring Art Crawl Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the St. Paul Art Crawl last weekend. Our building alone had nearly 1600 visitors. It was a crazy, wonderful blast.
